LOL ... Pretty enlightening ... Found these articles on the net, and some of the points are kinda true haha ! The men's section is kinda brief cause men are like that. They get to the point. Women's section is a lil longer. Cause we tend to talk too much, hehe. Cheerios !

- What Men Want Women to Know -

1. Shopping is a chore, not an activity.

2. Don't be afraid to ditch the makeup. Natural is sexier.

3. We crave hugs and hand-holding too. And no, it doesn't always have to lead to sex.

Garden Cafe @ The Curve

Nothing beats chilling in a beautiful garden-like cafe on a saturday afternoon with one of your sisters, and exchanging stories you've missed out on one another for the past few months =)

The salmon salad was served in a surprisingly large portion, and was worth every cent (priced at RM13.90).The butter-lemon sauce didn't fully compliment the dory fish because it came off a tad too sweet for my liking. The apple sorbet on the other hand sent us over the moon; the flesh of half an apple was scraped out and turned into sorbet, and then compressed back into the apple ... to top it off, they added a sweet dollop of cream which created a contrast with the sour-goodness of the sorbet

The bill came up to a total of RM49.90 after tax. Quite reasonable. The good service (the waiter was extremely friendly) when coupled with the ambience, will just make ya feel all the more relaxed <3

P.S., The sexy babe (otherwise known as Pea) treated me to this as a belated bday present *hugz*

Something-something mocktail

Alfredo penne, to die for. Smoked salmon, perfect. However, the other items like the fried prawns, calamari rings, dory fillets, and cold crab were so very forgettable. The Mushroom pizza didn't hit off very well with my taste buds either.

But the mocktail tasted very cute, and by cute I mean like blended gummy bears ... ahhh, the nostalgia <3

The bill came up to RM 110.20 for 2 people, which I thought was within the normal price range since we had a giant plate of seafood =) oh, and did I mention that there were 3 slices of smoked salmon, and each was big enough to cover your face ? *drools*

P.S., Alfredo or carbonara can never go wrong, hehe ...

The Dirtier the Restaurant, the Better the Food Tastes

You have to admit, the places around selling the best kind of grub are the ones where we have to :

1)Stand and eat
2)Endure the company of other "customers" such as cockroaches,rats, and stray dogs/cats
3)Squat in style beside a drain a.k.a. longkang
4) ... and at the same time hold your breath against the stench of the drain
5) Compete with other customers to get the attention of the person you are ordering from
6)Hold in your pee cause if their eating area is already that unhygienic, surely the toilets are dirtier beyond the capacity of your imagination.

In my opinion, an old, run-down, & dirty restaurant (with peeling wall tiles etc.)would be the best place to look for scrumptious meals that have been prepared with a traditional touch. Unlike in most new/modern restaurants where you witness your food swimming in MSG, the "tauke-tauke" of old eateries choose to add flavour into what they're selling by extracting it directly from its source ( exp. through boiling meat in soup overnight, or by frying then simmering) ... making the food extra awesome. However, there are rumours bout these places (like how the cook added a lil something 'extra' for ya; dirt, boogers, spit, sweat, pest droppings, or the lint wedged in between his/her nails).

This morning I woke up at 7am with the intention to head down to Jalan Alor, KL, for a hearty breakfast at an extremely old restaurant that I have patronized since I was a lil chubster. Not gonna mention where (since this post is about good food at dirty places) but I'm gonna share with ya the delicacies they have there =P

4)Comfy and casual when paired with skinny jeans (Female mag., May 2010). I am going to presume that it does your legs some justice when it is up against the shortening effect of skinnies.

You'll know that your blood glucose level has skyrocketed when you & a friend decide to show no mercy to 12 pretty cupcakes while watching a stand up comedy video at 10pm.

Midnight snacks will kill you ! But in my case, the "snack" portion is equivalent to everyone else's dinner portion =P

P.S., In no more than 10 minutes after the cupcakes, I asked if we should have a round of cupnoodles, in which there came a swift response of "Yes please". Lol.

Temptations @ TLC

In case you're wondering why I was at Taylor's, I'd have to tell you that my team went there for the sole purpose of interviewing Dr Adnan, in order to gain more insight on GIS/GID, the acronym for Gender Identity Disorder. Awesome and very educational interview; don't think I've enjoyed one this much btw.

There was a cafe named 'Temptations' ... and its uniqueness came in the form of it being managed ONLY by the CA students ... The desserts looked lovely, though they could be a lil pricey for a campus range/ lunch budget (exp. RM 7.50 for a small piece of tart-size cake). If you're looking for a good way to test the Taylor's CA expertise in pastry, here's the right place.

P.S., I somehow imagined the lake to be bigger lol.

Haven't wore these working pants for a while now, have been stuck with pencil skirts =P

Mother's Day Promotion @ Italiannies

We ordered the (from top to bottom) Quatro platter, Clams, Shrimp Linguine, Tiramisu, Beef & Bacon Carbonara Fettuccine, Steak platter, some house wine and a glass of Rome (cocktail) ... Bill amounted to RM230.00, reasonably cheap, I would say.

Haven't had Italiannies for a while now, and today I rediscovered the joy of being a fan of the food there ... though there was a slight portion cut in prawns when it came to the linguine.

They came up with a pretty attractive promotion today : Percentage of discount (on one main course meal) that's given is according to your mother's age. With that said, the steak platter was reduced from its original price of rm 40.30 to rm22.30 ...

Lol, I thought women were sensitive about their ages =P

Anyway, anyhow, was glad that Mommy enjoyed the day =)
