From WIP to Alexis

I enjoy the nights when I can have 2 dinners in a row! Tried the banoffee @ alexis, and I still prefer the pavlova ... lovin the french onion soup though :) But of course, the wild mushroom soup is still the orgasmic one.

Here's a cup of aromatic ginseng honey tea ! A sweet treat that comes together with therapeutic properties. Its a good drink for your body if you're overwhelmed by the stress of work etc. This place is located at the food area in Asian Avenue, directly next to Shinlin Snacks.

What's Going On Inside

Heavy waves of pressure are crashing against the shore of my heart.
It ain't no calm sea.
My thoughts are scattered ... my decisions are fickle ... my attention is dispersed ... and my emotions are heaving with a tinge of bitterness and a full scale of stinging pain.
I can't seem to focus, and all I've been thinking of ... is nothing.
Just a void that's persistently occupying the back of my head.

But I did think about that stubby green tumbler I saw at starbucks *sniff* ...

Salmon, 5th Day In A Row

Sent by Maxis from my BlackBerry® smartphone

Because

You've got a way with me
Somehow you got me to believe
In everything that I could be
I've gotta say-you really got a way
You've got a way it seems
You gave me faith to find my dreams
You'll never know just what that means
Can't you see... you got a way with me

It's in the way you want me
It's in the way you hold me
The way you show me just what love's made of
It's in the way we make love

You've got a way with words
You get me smiling even when it hurts
There's no way to measure what your love is worth
I can't believe the way you get through to me

Oh, how I adore you
Like no one before you
I love you just the way you are
Its just the way you are.

Hajime @ Ampang

This packed banglo cum japanese restaurant is located along Jalan Damai in Ampang, KL. The sets here are pretty large in portion and the sashimi is definitely top notch :) Just remember to make reservations first (tel: 0321430073)

The gigantic lollipop is a gift from a thoughful friend who recently visited singapore and one of the heavenly sweet shops there - candylicious! I'm sure he enjoyed the trip, especially to the newly opened universal studios :)

Tortoise Thoughts

Use to come here once in a while when I was lil ... The tortoises here, at Ipoh's Sam Poh Temple, are really enormous. You can feed the shelbies if you buy some vegetables frm the sweet blue-eyed chinese lady outside.

RT Pastry

You won't be able to help but light up at the sight of their beautifully decorated cakes :) They're famous for their cheesecake here. Am currently in their subang ss15 branch, just a few doors away from a landmark like Maybank.

Serai @ Empire Gallery

Just like ole ole bali, they serve indonesian food, but provide a western menu as well. The fried platter (consists of beef & chicken satay, calamari, alfredo mushrooms, and french bread) was one of my favourite dishes for the day. The broccoli soup and thinly-sliced fried brinjal was pretty nice tasting too :) but sadly the same can't really be said for their creamy salmon pasta and portobello salad cause they were a lil funky. But overall I would say that the food served is worth trying. Oh! and the oreo cheese cake was delectable. Too bad they ran out of pavlova that day; it was their best selling dessert.
