Teapot Cafe @ SS2, Petaling Jaya

This cafe is very similar to coliseum. Really romantic, and it plays around with the 50's cargo-side theme. Tried the milanese fish (RM21), the Kampung nasi goreng (RM19), the Devonshire teaset (cakes, scones, & apple crumble tea @ RM19.90), the apple pie ala mode (RM6.90), tuna salad, and deli sandwiches. My verdict? The food's kinda pricey for the quality presented [re: the fish was over-fried to the point where it was bitter]. The apple pie was really stale, cakes weren't mosit enough, and the tuna salad was nothing to shout about. However, the chicken from the nasi kampung was nicely spiced and fried, while the apple crumble tea was beautifully aromatic. Other than that, I would say that there are better tea spots out there. Scones were alright, so unless you're strictly just a tea and scones person, it'll be best to visit other western restaurants.
