Innocent Laughter

I remember the time  back when I was in Canada, at the babysitter's with my friends. I was just a cute little thing,  playing along with the rest. Our parents had dropped us there to attend an annual dinner.
She had lovely long blond hair, and was one of the nicest things on earth. She played pin the tail on the donkey with us, using one of her clean-smelling socks as a blindfold. And then she took us to the woods for a hike, and just when we wanted to start a campfire, we learned it was illegal to do so. Every other kid had to walk back to the care centre but she carried me cause I was so little.

I miss those times.
